Overview
The Task Calendar is accessible under the Calendars section in Event Temple. It displays tasks assigned to your organization, team members, or specific bookings in a familiar calendar layout. This allows you to easily monitor deadlines, upcoming follow-ups, and outstanding actions related to your events and accounts.
Calendar Views
Users can switch between Day, Week, and Month views to manage tasks based on workload or scheduling needs. The Today button instantly returns the view to the current date, making navigation quick and efficient.
Task Display
Each entry on the calendar represents a specific task. Tasks can appear in time slots or in the all-day section if they do not have a specific time assigned.
Examples of tasks that may appear include:
Sending a contract
Following up with a client
Reviewing event details
Qualifying a new lead
These tasks display the time, title, and type of activity to give users immediate context.
Creating and Managing Tasks
The New Task button at the top of the page allows users to quickly create tasks. You can assign a task to a person, link it to a booking or account, and set a due date and time. Once added, tasks automatically appear on the calendar.
Users can also apply Filters to narrow down visible tasks by type, assignee, or status. This helps focus on the most relevant items for a given day or project.
Integration with Other Tools
The Task Calendar integrates seamlessly with other Event Temple modules such as Bookings, Events, Accounts, and Contacts. This ensures all task information is synchronized and tied to the correct records, giving full visibility into what actions are pending or completed across the team.
