Step 1: Start a New Session Note

  1. From your EvolveWell dashboard, click Create a Note.

  2. The Session Notes option will automatically be selected.

  3. In the AI chat, type something like:

“I want to create a template for my session notes to summarize my sessions for clients.”

This tells the platform you’re building a reusable framework for summarizing client sessions.

Step 2: Define What You Want in the Template

Next, specify what your session notes should include.
For example:

“Include a summary of the session, key takeaways, any follow-ups discussed, and suggested assignments for next steps.”

EvolveWell will generate a clean and structured Session Notes Template with these sections built in.

Step 3: Review and Customize the Template

Once the AI generates the note format:

  • Review each section (e.g., Summary, Key Takeaways, Follow-Ups, Next Steps)

  • Adjust any labels, phrasing, or prompts to fit your coaching style

  • Remove any unnecessary tags, and add a new one such as:

    • session-note-template

    • coaching-summary

💡 Tip: Use clear section headers so the template works seamlessly with automatic transcript summaries later on.

Step 4: Save to Your Library

  1. When your template looks ready, click Save to Library.

  2. The Session Notes Template will now appear under your Templates → Session Notes section.

  3. You can reuse this format anytime you pull in a transcript from a client session — EvolveWell will automatically populate the summary using this structure.

Summary

  • Create a new Session Note and tell the AI you’d like to build a reusable template.

  • Include sections such as Summary, Key Takeaways, Follow-Ups, and Next Steps.

  • Customize, tag, and save it to your Library.

  • Reuse it anytime you summarize a session transcript.
