Follow these steps to add your card to Apple Pay:

Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.

Tap the + button in the top right corner (If the button is grayed out or you get an error, you'll need to change your region to any country that supports Apple Pay. you can see a list of countries you can change your region to here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102775).

  1. On the Exa App, go to “Card” screen and tap the "reveal" button

  2. Tap Debit or Credit Card on your Wallet app,

  3. Tap Continue and enter the card information manually

  4. Complete the identity verification process via phone call (see details below).

Card Verification & Activation Process

To enhance security, card activations now require a brief verification call:

Support Phone Numbers:

  • Toll-Free: +1 (888) 944-8885

  • International: +1 (881) 944-8885

What to expect: During the call, our support team will ask a few basic questions based on the information registered to your account to verify your identity.

Supported languages: Verification calls are currently conducted in English and Spanish only.

Activation: Once the call is successfully completed, your card will be activated and ready to use.

What to do if you receive an error:

In some cases, you may receive an error saying that your card was not added to your Apple Pay. Apple Pay may decline your card because of your Apple account's risk score.

The account score is given by Apple Pay based on things like the age of your Apple account, current fraud suspension, etc. We have no control over your Apple account's score.

We advise you to switch to a different Apple account that you own and retry adding the card to Apple Pay.

In some countries, there is an extra step, where Apple may ask you to choose the issuer bank; in that case, you should select Airwallex.
