Item Metadata

Updated over 10 months ago

All items support a variety of metadata that can be used to for search, reporting, and delivery. Because item banks can grow quite large, it is recommended to fill in as much metadata for an item as possible to make it easier to find, and more powerful to deliver and report on.

Basic

Basic metadata includes required fields like the Title and Bank, as well as Maturity for workflow control, and Visibility and Searchability to control how the item responds, if at all, in search queries.

Metadata

Item metadata drives most of search and reporting, and includes fields like Language, Subject, Grade Level, Depth of Knowledge and Blooms Taxonomy. No item metadata is required, but it is highly recommended.

Display

Display metadata is where font scaling can optionally bet set to make an item render at 2x or 3x the default size.
