Press the tasks icon
From the dashboard, press the tasks icon in the left menu.
Press the +Task button
Press the +Task button located at the top of the Tasks section.
Complete the task form
Task title- Add a meaningful title to the task. This should clearly describe the task at a glance. Consider determining naming conventions for your team to follow to ensure consistency and clarity.
Type- Select the type of task from the available options:
General Task: For routine tasks that don’t fit into other categories.
Authoring Assignment: For tasks related to writing content.
Content Audit: For reviewing and assessing existing content.
Media Request: For tasks that involve acquiring or creating media assets.
Assigned to- Select the user in your workspace to whom you want to assign the task. This ensures that the right person is notified and responsible for completing the task.
Reviewer- Select a reviewer in the workspace for the task. This is the person who will check and approve the task once it is completed.
Description- Give a detailed description of the task, outlining what the expected outcome should be. This helps the assignee understand what needs to be done and any specific requirements.
Assign due date- Assign a due date for the task. This helps prioritize the task and ensures that it is completed within the required time frame.
Create task- Click Create Task to finalize and save the task.
What happens next?
Once the task is created, the assignee will see the assignment in their dashboard. Additionally, they will receive an email notification informing them of the new task.
By following these steps, you can effectively create and assign tasks within Campfire Studio, ensuring that all team members are aligned and that tasks are completed efficiently.
