We are pleased to announce that Critical Public Health (CPH) will publish all approved abstracts from the 18th Excellence in Pediatrics Conference (EiP2026).
CPH is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, fully open-access journal dedicated to the latest research in public health. Since transitioning to open access in 2024, the journal has been at the forefront of disseminating significant findings across fields, including health promotion, sociology, and the political economy of health. As of 2023, CPH has an Impact Factor of 3.1.
In parallel, all accepted abstracts are also published in the Excellence in Pediatrics Abstracts Library, providing an additional layer of visibility, accessibility, and citability beyond the journal publication. Each abstract is assigned an individual DOI, enabling it to be cited and indexed as a standalone scientific contribution, independent of the journal issue.
For authors, this ensures that their work is included in a high-quality international journal and also remains directly discoverable and citable through the Excellence in Pediatrics platform. Abstracts can be easily accessed and searched by title, author, contribution ID, and conference year, and each record includes a ready-to-use citation format.
The Abstracts Library serves as a permanent, structured record of conference contributions, supporting long-term visibility and academic recognition of the work presented.
This dual publication model, established with the 2025 conference, strengthens the dissemination and impact of presented research by combining the reach of an international journal with the persistent accessibility and independent citability of the Excellence in Pediatrics Abstracts Library.
By publishing abstracts in both CPH and the Abstracts Library, we ensure that the findings presented at the conference reach a broad international audience while remaining individually identifiable, citable, and accessible over time.
