Upcoming Micros Upgrade: Temporary Reporting & Data Delays Expected

Beginning Sunday, December 7th, Oracle/Micros will be performing a multi-phase upgrade to the MyMicros (Oracle Hospitality Reporting & Analytics) environment. This will temporarily disrupt the data feeds we rely on for Expressway's Inventory, Analytics, and Scheduling features for Micros Sonic stores.

Key Impacts to Expect

Sunday, Dec 7 at 8:00 PM CT through Monday, Dec 8 at 11:00 AM CT
MyMicros will be offline during this window.

Inventory:

  • Inventory counts can still be performed.

  • Actual and Ideal Cost of Sales reports will be delayed until store polling and processing resumes, which may not occur until late Monday.

Analytics:

  • No automated or email reporting for Micros stores on Monday morning.

  • Sunday’s data will not be viewable in the dashboard or mobile app until late Monday (at the earliest).

  • Ticket times in reporting will be delayed throughout the week as our team must manually reprocess ticket time files for each Micros location.

Scheduling:

  • No direct impact is expected.


Additional Upgrade Windows

  • Tuesday, Dec 9 at 8:00 PM CT to Wednesday, Dec 10 at 11:00 AM CT

  • Thursday, Dec 11 from 8:00 AM CT to 4:00 PM CT

These windows will result in similar brief outages and polling delays.


What to Expect

  • Reporting will gradually return each day as Micros systems come back online and store polling resumes.

  • Some delays may extend into the evenings or following mornings, depending on store polling times and Oracle's upgrade progress.

  • Data for ticket times and GL exports (sales & labor data) may take longer to process than usual.

  • There’s always a risk of unexpected complications with an upgrade of this scale. We’re monitoring all systems closely and will provide updates if broader issues arise.


No Need to Submit Support Tickets

These interruptions are tied directly to Micros' upgrade schedule and are outside of our control.
Our team will be monitoring closely and handling all required reprocessing internally.
Please do not open support tickets related to missing Micros data during this time.
