Extole reports have a variety of advanced configuration options for you to consider. While these are completely optional, they may help you better tailor a report to your needs or deliver the data to you in a more convenient fashion.

Many reports have their own unique fields in the advanced section, but some options are consistent across all reports. This article addresses the most common fields found in the advanced section of report configuration screens.

Deliver via SFTP

All reports have the option to be delivered via secure file transfer protocol (SFTP). To take advantage of this feature, you must have an SFTP server set up in your My Extole account. You will then be able to select the server to which you would like the report delivered and optionally specify the file name.

Formats

Some reports give you file formats to choose from: XLSX, JSON, or CSV. You can select one or multiple of these options.
