What are Offers on EzriRx.com?

Our "Offers" feature was built to ensure that pharmacies were getting the best prices for products. Similar to how wholesalers might give pharmacies a better deal when haggled with, we tried to mimic this process and offer the ability to haggle with a wholesaler directly on EzriRx.com.

How to make an Offer

On any product page, you will see the option to either "Add to cart" which will add the product your shopping cart at the advertised price, and an "Make offer" button.

When the "Make offer" button is clicked, a popup window will display containing the exact inventory the wholesaler has for the specified item and the current listed price. You can enter in a proposed item price and the quantity you are interested in purchasing.

Tips: For Brand items, try staying between 1-2% of the advertised price, as wholesalers will generally decline 'low ball' offers. For Generic try staying between the 1-5% range as wholesalers are already discounting products to stay competitive.

Once an offer is submitted, an email will be sent to the wholesaler for their review. The wholesaler will have the following options:

  1. Accept: This will approve the offer and add the product to your cart for you to check out.

  2. Counter Offer:  this option will allow the wholesaler to submit a counter offer - they typically still offer a better price than advertised, but above the offer price. This usually means the wholesaler does not have the requested margin to give a better deal.

  3. Decline: this option will decline the offer and you won't be able buy it at the requested price.

Please note: making an offer or accepting a counter offer implies that you 100% agree to purchase this product at the offer or accepted price. Once an offer is approved, you will no longer be able to remove it from your cart.

If you are happy with the accepted price and want more of the product, you can view your cart and increase the quantity using the toggle. Note that you cannot change the quantity to be below the agreed-upon quantity associated with the offer.

How Quickly Do Wholesalers Respond to Offers?

Wholesalers will generally respond to offers within 1-2 hours maximum. They want your business and will ensure that they provide a timely response.

Viewing Your Offers

All your pending, countered and declined offers are displayed on the Offers page. You can see your pending and counter offers on the main screen and a full history of used (purchased), declined and expired offers within the "History" tab.
