What are Notifications?

When something new happens on your EzriRx account, such as an open order being fulfilled or a wholesaler accepting your application, we will send notifications to you so that you can stay on top of all this activity. EzriRx offers two types of notifications: in-app notifications and email notifications.

About in-app notifications

On the top right corner of any page you will see this bell icon, which will contain a pink dot in the top right corner if there are any unread notifications:

If you click on this icon a pane will appear from the right side of your page that contains an activity feed, sorted by the most recent activity first. These updates include changes to orders, upcoming invoice due dates, order fulfillments and more. Click anywhere outside of the notifications pane to dismiss it.

About email notifications

We also send notifications via email when new activity happens on your account. By default these emails are sent to the email address you used to sign up to EzriRx with, but you can add as many email addresses as you'd like in Notification settings, as well as configure who receives which email notifications. Read more about configuring notifications below.

How do I choose which notifications we receive, and who receives them?

As you receive notifications for different types of activity on EzriRx, you may realize that someone else at your pharmacy should be getting certain emails, or that you don't need to be notified about a certain type of activity. You can configure these types of notification preferences at any time in your Notification settings.

Configuring email notifications

At the top of the Notification settings page you will notice the "Email notifications" section. This section contains a number of different configuration options:

  1. The first setting you will notice is a checkbox that allows you to toggle email notifications entirely. Though we give you the option, we don't recommend disabling email notifications as you will likely miss important activities related to your account!

  2. Below this setting you will see an "Email addresses" field with a long text box. In this field you can list the email addresses (one per line) which should receive email notifications. You can enter as many emails as you'd like.

  3. On the right side you will see a "Configure which emails you wish to receive" section. In this area you can toggle certain notifications on or off, and even toggle certain email addresses on or off from receiving certain notifications. (Tip: if you just added new email addresses in the text box on the left, you will need to click "Save changes" in the top right of the page in order to get this list of emails to update)

Configuring in-app notifications

At the bottom of your Notification settings page you will notice an "In-app notifications" section. This section contains a number of different configuration options:

  1. The first setting you will notice is a checkbox that allows you to toggle in-app notifications entirely. Though we give you the option, we don't recommend disabling in-app notifications as you will likely miss important activities related to your account. If you also have email notifications disabled this means you will receive no notifications on EzriRx at all.

  2. On the right side you will see a "Configure which notifications you wish to receive" section. In this area you can toggle certain notifications on or off. If disabled, you will not see this type of activity in your notifications pane.
