First, make sure you’ve followed all the steps below to update your Fabli:
🔋 Make sure your Fabli is sufficiently charged.
1. Download the update
Go to Settings in the app, tap on your Fabli, and start the download. This step may take a few minutes depending on the size of the update.
Make sure to keep your phone and the app on and open throughout the process.
2. Activate your Fabli’s connectivity mode
Once the download is complete, activate connectivity mode on your Fabli. Then follow the on-screen instructions to sync the files. This step might also take a little time.
📱 Keep your phone, the app, and your Fabli powered on during the entire synchronization.
3. Finish the update
Once everything is done, turn off connectivity mode and disconnect from the Fabli’s Wi-Fi network.
💡 You’ll then see four small green lights on your Fabli — this is normal! It means the final files are being installed. Do not interact with the app or turn off your Fabli during this process.
Followed all the steps and it still isn’t working?
Here are a few things you can try to complete the update, in this order:
If you see a message asking to switch to mobile data during the update, don’t accept. Try again using a Wi-Fi connection.
Move closer to your router — your connection may be unstable. Then try launching the update again.
Right after turning on connectivity mode, manually connect to Fabli’s Wi-Fi network and enable Bluetooth, then try the update again.
Restart the Fabli app, turn off connectivity mode, and power off your Fabli. Then start the process from the beginning.
