Order Details - Sales Order

View in-depth details of a Sales Order.

Overview

Opening a new or existing Sales Order leads to Order details tab, with Collaborate, Checklists, Tracking (Submitted orders only), Linked Orders and Timeline.

πŸ‘₯ Access Permissions: Only users with access to Sales Orders can view Order details tab. Please review user roles prior commencing.

πŸ“Locating this section in app:

  • Sales> Sales Orders > select any Sales Order or

  • Customer > select a customer > select a Sales Order.


Order Details

The Sales Order page is divided into the following key sections:


Order Information

  • Order # - automatically generated unique number for each Sales Order

  • Customer name - displays the customer the order or quote is for

  • Action buttons - options vary depending on order status

  • Created by - automatically displays the name of the team member who created the order (not editable)

  • Created date – automatically records the date order was created (not editable)

  • Required date – editable field to set the expected fulfilment date

  • Assigned to – selection of team member(s) responsible for managing the order

  • [Accounting Package] Order #: displays a linked order number if integrate with MYOB, QBO, or Xero

  • Invoice status – defaults to No when a new order is creates and updates once invoiced

  • Order status - default to Draft and updates as the order progresses


Contact Details

  • Contact – person to reach out to regarding the order

  • Bill to – billing address

  • Deliver To / Pick up / Install at – address where order will be delivered, picked up, or installed (depending on the selected option)

  • PO field – optional field to capture Purchase Order number for cross-referencing

  • Labels – add searchable tags for sorting or filtering

  • Notes – add special instructions, delivery info, or other important order details


Custom Columns

Displays any custom columns that have been added via Sales Orders main page.


Product and Pricing

Display all the products, product kits, drawing (if enabled) added to the order. Includes pricing, quantity, cost and margin, delivery fee, and discounts.
