Selling on FairArt
As a Seller, what happens if I don’t complete a sale? (i.e. I do not ship an item, I send an item that is not as described, I send a fake)

In order to protect the integrity of our marketplace we must take action when sellers do not uphold their end of the bargain. Once an item is sold on FairArt it constitutes an agreement to uphold certain standards and if a seller is found to have ignored these, there are several actions we may take:

  • charge the seller's payment method a minimum of £20 GBP or an amount up to 20% of the transaction amount, in FairArt’s sole discretion, as a service fee;

  • remove any or all of seller’s listings from the Services;

  • cancel any or all of seller’s orders pending through the Services;

  • withhold any payments due to seller;

  • place limits on seller’s buying and selling privileges;

  • ship the item back to the seller at the seller’s cost (including any customs and duties amounts incurred);

  • provide the counterfeit items to law enforcement or destroy the counterfeit items,

  • temporarily or permanently suspend the seller’s account.

Mistakes do happen and we will judge each incident on a case by case basis, but we must enforce these rules when needed to protect both our buyers and sellers.
