FairArt uses an innovative multi-layered authentication process to authenticate its works.
Each artwork on FairArt is individually assessed before being made available to buy or sell on the platform and during this assessment the team come up with a set of unique requirements for each that the seller must match.
An internal rating system for all sellers based on their presence in the industry, sales history, referrals, in depth background checks and more.
Certain artworks require additional documentation to be uploaded and checked by the FairArt team before a transaction can be completed.
If all else fails, we will lean on our partner artists to help with the authentication process. After all, it is in their interest to receive the FairArt art royalty and remove fraudulent collectors of their work from the market.
If there are any signs of wear and tear to an item, the FairArt team will immediately remove it from the platform. Everything sold on FairArt must be ‘as new’.
Furthermore, the buyer’s funds are not released to the seller until the item has been well received and checked by the buyer.
