What is the difference between the Main edition, AP and PP?

Main Edition - The standard edition of any print. If the print is not specified as an AP, PP, or a different edition type, you can assume it is the main edition.

AP means 'Artist Proof' - Means that the artist personally inspected the print during the printing process. They are initialled AP and are rarer than the main edition. Other than that, they share all the same visual qualities as the main edition.

PP means 'Printer Proof' - Means that the printers personally inspected the print during the printing process. They are initialled PP and are rarer than the main edition. Other than that, they share all the same visual qualities as the main edition.
