Since November 17 2021, Falcony no longer works in Internet Explorer browser.

Since November 17 2021, Falcony no longer works in Internet Explorer browser. Users using Internet Explorer should switch to a modern browser. See What browsers does falcony.io support? for a list of alternatives.

Why have we ended the support

Internet Explorer has not been developed since 2015, so it doesn't support the latest browser technologies. This limited the development of Falcony.

Microsoft, the author of Internet Explorer, has removed its support for Internet Explorer in Microsoft 365 apps and Teams. Many other service providers have also officially removed their support.

With the removal of Internet Explorer support, we can optimize Falcony for the majority of users using a modern browser. This means great things for Falcony users:

  • The performance and user experience of Falcony will improve

  • We are able to ship more cutting-edge new features to Falcony
