Audit templates that are no longer in use may be archived in order for the user to have a more clean user interface. An archived template will no longer be active for any user to conduct audits with. Ongoing audits may be worked on and completed even after the audit template has been archived.

Completed audits of archived templates will still be visible as normal to any user with viewing rights of the audit template.

Archiving audits is useful when adding a new audit to replace an old one, since the data gathered so far can still be found, but no new audits using the old template can be started.

You may archive audits from the Audit template page. Administration --> Audit templates --> select the template to archive --> click Archive next to the Settings button.
