Users with editing rights to observations may delete reported observations. This feature is typically used when f.e. an observation was submitted for training purposes, but needs to be removed in order to not impact statistics.

How to delete an observation

  • Go to the Observations page and open the observation you wish to delete.

  • Click the three dots on the top right corner of the window. This opens up a dropdown menu, with Delete observation being the last option.

  • Click Delete observation. This prompts a pop-up window to make sure that this is an action you wish to take.

  • Confirm that you want to delete the observation by clicking Delete observation. This will remove the reported observation from your logs, and no user will be able to access it anymore. It will also be removed from your statistics panel, as if it was never there.

NOTE

The observation counter (#) will not reset, even after deleting an observation. The number given to the observation will not be reused, creating a gap in the numbering scheme where the observation used to be. This does not affect any processes.
