Start by opening Settings on your Android device and navigating to System.

Select Languages & Input.

Select Virtual Keyboard and click Google Voice Typing, then Manage Keyboards. There, tap "Google voice typing" to turn speech-to-text on.

When you tap to type into any text editable field within Falcony, for instance an observation description, tap and hold down the space button on your keyboard to open up keyboard options. Select Google voice typing.

Anything that you say into your phone will be transcribed into the text field, including punctuation by saying the words "comma" and "period."

This feature is useful when making quick notes on the move, or when it is otherwise inconvenient to type on your phone.
