The About tab in your child’s profile contains all their key personal information. It’s important that this is accurate and kept up to date, so your child’s setting has everything they need to care for them safely and effectively.

To add, edit, or update your child’s details:

Once saved, staff with the appropriate permissions will be able to view this information.

This section includes your child’s core details, such as their name, age, and date of birth. These are unlikely to change often, but you can still edit them if needed.

Here you can enter important health-related information, including allergies, dietary requirements, vaccination records, and your child’s doctor’s details. You can update this section at any time, and your child’s setting will be notified of any changes.

This section allows you to optionally share information about your child’s religion or ethnicity. You can add or edit this at any time.

In this section you'll see an overview of all the documents your child's setting has sent to you. Here, you'll see documents that require your acknowledgment, such as policies and important updates like cost increases. And you'll also see documents that do not require your acknowledgment but will remain available for you to refer back to whenever you wish on your child's profile, such as newsletters, flyers, and summaries of meetings.

This section is view-only. It shows which room your child is currently in, their start date, and (if entered by the setting) their expected leave date.

In this section, your child’s setting may ask for your consent for certain activities. This could include applying suncream, taking photos for the nursery’s website, or allowing face painting.

You’ll need to respond Yes or No to each request. Each response is recorded with the date and name of the person who completed it, and you can update your choices at any time.
