The Revenue Report

The Revenue Report is where you can keep track of your monthly revenue. You can see a complete breakdown, including:

  • Total Revenue

  • Target Revenue (Premium feature)

  • Billed total, broken out by:

    • To be billed

    • Subsidy total (rarely used in the US; only if using our Monthly Funding feature; ask your customer success rep for more details)

    • Parent Fees (Planned) - this is expected tuition revenue made up of children's Plans

    • Parent Fees (Ad hoc) - this is additional revenue made up of extra charges, such as ad-hoc Sessions or Fees

    • Deposits - deposits logged in the given month for new children

  • Billed total, by Bill Payer

Using the Revenue Report

The Revenue Report displays data for the month in which care is given, not when it was invoiced - this is why your revenue report and invoice report may not always match.

The Revenue Report consists of three sections:

  • The graph - gives you a quick overview of future revenue

  • The center overview - provides summarized figures of your revenue

  • The bill payer overview - gives you a detailed breakdown of who adds to your revenue

The Graph

At a glance, you will be able to see if your revenue is going up or down in the months to come. When hovering your mouse over a black dot, the figure you will get is your total revenue.

The Center Overview

Here you'll find how the total revenue is calculated. The billed line represents the total costs of all billed items for that month, including Plans, ad hoc Sessions or Fees, Surcharges, Credits and custom lines added to unique invoices.

  • Billed shows what has been billed for

  • The Subsidy total line shows the amount that you can expect to receive based on your subsidy rates.

Billed, To be billed, Other and Subsidy total will add up to Total Revenue.

  • Billed total, broken out by:

    • To be billed: shows the amount for periods with active plans and ad hoc purchases that haven't been billed for yet

    • Parent Fees (Planned): this is expected tuition revenue made up of children's Plans

    • Parent Fees (Ad hoc): this is additional revenue made up of extra charges, such as ad-hoc Sessions or Fees

    • Other: additional surcharges, credits and/or custom lines added to invoices that aren't part of a Plan, Session or Fee

    • Subsidy total: the amount that you can expect to receive based on your subsidy rates*

    • Deposits: deposits logged in the given month for new children; please note that deposits included on a bill are not considered revenue because they need to be returned at some point

*Subsidy total: most US customers manage subsidy in other ways, which do not reflect on the Revenue Report; speak to your Customer Success Manager for questions on subsidy management

The Bill Payer Overview

Alphabetically listed by bill payer name, this section outlines how much each bill payer contributes to your revenue.

  • Black figures represent billed amounts. You can click on these figures to see the invoice linked to them

  • Grey figures represent amounts that will be billed in the future

Grey figures will match the figures when you send out invoices in batch.

Revenue Targets

By clicking the Set up target button in the top right corner of the screen, you are able to enter your revenue target. When the target is saved, it will show as a line in the graph for you to compare your revenue against.
