Overview
We allow Admin for Enterprises with multiple sites to have control over additional Map View settings for Map Flags across all sites or at a site specific level.
NOTE: As default, this Map Option will only be shown to Enterprise Admin.
Enterprise Admin can edit both the default map view and who has the ability to see all site flags in the Enterprise Settings.
How to update Enterprise Map Flag View Settings
Go to the Settings page on your MyFarmbot platform and click into 'Enterprise Settings' under the 'Account Settings' section.
Underneath the section for updating Enterprise Details is a section called 'Preferences' where Enterprise Admin can see two options:
Default Map View (default is Site-specific flags - only showing the flags for the site selected on the site dropdown)
View availability toggle (default view is Enterprise Admin only)
If you would like to set the default view for users to all map flags across all your sites - you can select 'Show All Enterprise Flags'.
NOTE:
This will change the view for any user roles that are able to see the setting.
So if your settings currently only allow Enterprise Admin to view all flags - this will only change their view.
If you have changed the viewing toggle to ALL user roles - this will change all user views.
If you would like all user roles in your Enterprise (Admin, Supervisor and View-Only) to be able to view all map flags and change their map view settings - you can toggle the 'Only available to Admin users' setting to OFF.
NOTE:
When a user role is able to see the Map Options for different flag views, individual users can change their own map flag view for personal preferences and it will be saved in their browser cookies until a cache clear or refresh - regardless of the default state settings.
So if the Enterprise default state is to view site-specific flags ONLY - individual users with the permissions can always toggle back and forth between preferred map flag views for their own page.
