Each time water flows through your flow meter, it generates a tick at set intervals.
Each tick represents a specific volume of water that has passed through the pipe.
The volume per tick depends on the type of flow meter you have, as some are set at 1L per tick whereas others are set at 10L per tick. You can now enter your own value to accurately calculate water volume passing through on your MyFarmbot platform display.
You can find your flow meter's volume per tick in the manufacturer's documentation. If you can't find it, our Customer Service team can help.
Steps
Go to your flow meter in the 'Pipes' menu item.
βSelect 'Settings' underneath the interactive graph (or the 3 dots
in the top righthand corner of the graph page) and go to the 'General' tab. You'll see the 'Volume per Tick' field where you can customise the amount of volume per tick calculated. It is set at 10L per tick as standard.
Click 'Save' once you're done.
