Note: You can only edit alerts if you are an admin or supervisor. If you cannot click on this button, it is because your role permissions do not allow it. For more information on what each role means see assign a role to a user.

Overview

Alert triggers give you complete control over your water tank notifications. You can edit alert triggers for specific situations depending on your water tank and operations.

Alert Types

  • Warning

    • When the tank is forecasted to be full or overfull

    • When the tank is low e.g. you may set this at 40-50% level

  • Critical

    • When the tank is low e.g. you may set this to 10-20% level

    • When water level has fallen rapidly (excessive rate of fall) e.g. 30cm in 60mins

When an alert is triggered, a notification will show in the notification module, as well as sent via text and/or email based on your notification preferences. See how to manage my text and email alert notifications.

Turning off an alert trigger

You can pick and choose how many of the alerts you wish to receive for each tank. By clearing a field (setting the value to zero) will turn the alert notification off for that tank. You know this is off when you see 'None' in the field.
