Once your monitor has been activated log into MyFarmbot and follow the steps below to complete the step up. Initial steps involve naming the device and noting its total height and volume. Once these details are completed, transitioning into configuring alerts are the next step. This article will guide you through the process, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup experience.
✍️ Note: Activate your monitor
If your monitor does not appear in MyFarmbot refer to this article to check if the activation is completed correctly.
Once you've logged in the new monitor will appear in the set-up menu or on the map view → The new monitor will appear in the 'To set-up' section (as seen the image below). In order to edit and add tank information → click on that section.
2. From there click the 3 dots on the righthand corner, it will have a few drop-down options → Click 'Water Tank Settings'.
3. It is essential you add in the Total Height and the features to add the Monitor Name and Total Volume is optional → Click save.
✍️ Note: Total Height refers to the water level when the tank is full, rather than the height of the tank itself. This is crucial for understanding the capacity and ensuring accurate measurements.
How to set up alert triggers

To set up alert triggers for a particular monitor, click the 3 dots on the righthand corner and select dropdown option 'Alert Triggers'.
2. From here you can add the values in for each field provided below → Click save to keep changes.
