6. Automation Mode
If you wish to have your monitor in Automation Mode, select 'Auto' button below the diagram and enter the 'Start' and 'Stop' level of your tank you wish to turn your pump on and off at.
Pump Operating Period
If you would like your pump to only run during a certain period, please reach out to Customer Support on service@farmbot.com.au or 02 9901 4798 and the team can configure this for you.
You may want to set a Pump Operating Period:
From 10 pm and 7am so it only runs during off-peak electricity
From 8 pm and 4 pm each day so the solar pump is only running during the day
The Pump Operating Period is a window of time the pump will automatically turn on, however, it is still based on the tank's level. I.e. the pump will not turn on during that time if the Destination Tank does not drop below the 'Start' level.
⚠️ Note: the Pump Operating Period is not a timer. Farmbot's Pump Control is designed to turn the pump on precisely as the tank needs it rather than running for an arbitrary amount of time.
