Go to your devices list page and click any one of your monitors. Here you’ll have a couple of fields with information about your device, and some of them can be edited!
Device Name
By default, we will show your device’s serial number in tables and lists if this field is not filled out. Otherwise, you can use any name you like!
Site
This dropdown will show the current site in which your device is associated too. You can change it to any of your enterprise’s sites.
Manual Override for Latitude and Longitude
You can now also alter the reported GPS location of your monitor if you’re experiencing issues with accuracy. Simply plug in your desired coordinates and your device’s location should be updated in any associated maps.
This is optional, but if you do decide to change them, both fields must be provided if one or the other is input.
Click save and you’re done! Your changes should apply immediately and persist the next time you see this device in various parts of MyFarmbot!
