If you are interested in applying for a funding program offered by the government you will need to have a Farm Number from the Farm Service Agency (FSA). Get your farm number using your Farmraise dashboard. Additionally, reaching out to your local FSA office can help you learn about specific grant and loan opportunities available in your area. Local FSA offices often have detailed information and programs suitable for farmers, including beginners.

To better manage your finances and prepare for funding applications, the FarmRaise expense-tracking tool is a valuable resource. It helps organize financial records for tax preparation, grant applications, and overall financial decisions.

New farmers should explore beginner-friendly grants available through both the FarmRaise funding library and local FSA offices. These programs are designed to support first-time farmers in starting their agricultural ventures.
