How To Use the Bulk Import

If you are interested in using our bulk import tool to bring in your past transactions from your bank statements, other account software, or your homegrown spreadsheets, you can request the spreadsheet from us.

This article will walk you through the steps, and there is also a video to guide you.


You will receive the template and then you will make a copy of the spreadsheet in Google Sheets or download it to open in Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers.

  1. You will go to the second sheet and enter your name and email address associated with your FarmRaise account at the top.

  2. Add details for any transactions you want to see in FarmRaise Tracks.

    1. You can use one sheet for both Revenues and Expenses

    2. Note There is two example transactions at the top to help you get started. Make sure to delete these before you get going .

  3. You can bring in information from other places

    1. Feel free to copy and paste transactions from other sources (like your bank, your own spreadsheets, or accounting software) into this template.

    2. Note! Most banks and accounting software will allow you to download your data in a CSV format, which you can then open and copy and paste into this template!

    3. Every bank is different, but you can usually find this option by going to your transaction history and looking for an Export or Download option.

    4. If copying / pasting from somewhere else, make sure the data is in the format specified below for each field.

    5. If you need assistance with transferring your data into CSV format, you can use Adobe Acrobat or similar software.

  4. When you're done:

    1. If you are in Google Sheets, click "Share" in the upper right corner and enter "support@farmraise.com" in the box and click "done"

    2. You can also email us your downloaded, completed spreadsheet

  5. Wait for Us!

    1. We will import your transactions into your Tracks account in a few days!

    2. We'll send you a message when your transactions have been added to your account!

If left blank, it will default to "Uncategorized" and you can categorize it in Tracks later

G

Product

No

If left blank, it will default to "Unspecified" and you can categorize it in Tracks later

If it matches a product you already have in Tracks, we'll add it for that product!

If it does not match a product you've already added in Tracks, we'll add it for you!

Add any important notes for this transaction
