You can add an animal that has been sold in error back into the herd as follows:

  1. Go to Herd Manager > Re-add animal. This page shows a list of animals sold in the past 12 months

  2. Optionally, you can narrow down the number of tags in the list-box by using the "Filter Exit Date" box to specify the current sale date and then clicking on the "Filter" button. Otherwise go to step 3 below

  3. To select all filtered animals, click and hold down your left mouse button and drag downwards, or for a single animal, just click on the animal's ear tag in the list box

  4. Important: tick the "Add Directly" checkbox. This will remove any spurious herd register entries for the incorrect sale.

  5. Finally, click the button: "Add Selected Animals to herd"

This process will remove any erroneous "Off" movements from the FarmWizard herd register, however, if the movement has already been sent to the CTS through FarmWizard, the Re-add function will not send any form of update notification to the BCMS - this must be done by contacting the BCMS Helpline or via the CTS Online website.

If the animals were marked as sold more than 12 months ago, please contact the Farm Success Team with the full ear tag number of each animal and we will progress the issue for you.
