Correcting a wrong "off" movement date before BCMS submission
If you have marked a number of animals as sold in order to record a permanent sale or a temporary "off" movement, the FarmWizard Herd Register is updated and if you have ticked the "Register with BCMS" check box, the "off" movement will be placed on the pending Registrations list.
You can amend an incorrect sale date by selling the animals again, and if the movements are still showing on the pending BCMS Registrations List, this time do not tick the "Register with BCMS" check box. When the sale is saved, the "off" movement date will be corrected on the pending registrations list.
To sell the animals again, go to the Batch Manager and set a filter by ticking the box for "Sold/Dead" and picking entering the current (incorrect) sale from the "Move Date" drop-down list. Click the orange "Filter" button to apply the filter to the herd list.
Once the filter has been applied, the matching animals will be highlighted in the main herd list box to the right of the screen.
Next, click the "Record Event" button at the top right of the screen, and then select "Batch Sale".
Now go to Herd Manager > BCMS Interface > Registrations to check that the "off" movement date has been updated with the new date. You can now click "Register Outstanding Moves Now" to send them immediately, or leave them for the next auto-submission.
Correcting "off" movement dates that have already been sent through to BCMS (or have been submitted by other methods)
FarmWizard movements are submitted automatically to the BCMS at 10:00 am each day. If you need to amend "off" movement dates as above, it must be done before the auto-submission.
If the movements have already gone through to the BCMS with the incorrect date, you must contact the BCMS by telephone or via CTS Online in order to correct the movement dates on the CTS as FarmWizard is unable to do this.
Once you have amended the "off" movement date with BCMS, you should follow the steps as above in order to correct the FarmWizard Herd Register, however do not click the "Register with BCMS" check box on this occasion.
