How to change the bundle's position using "Fast Bundle blocks"?

This article describes how to change the position of the bundle widget and place it on your shop pages.

Updated over a week ago

Sometimes you don't like the initial place chosen by Fast Bundle to show bundles on your shop and you want to change it.

There are two ways to do this:

  1. Contact Fast Bundle support (support@fastbundle.co) and ask us to change the place of a bundle to your desired place. (Don't forget to send complementary documents like screenshots that can show your desired place exactly)

  2. Use "Fast Bundle blocks" to put the bundles wherever you want on your own without the need for any external help.

How to use Fast Bundle Blocks?

Please note that the display direction for the bundles that are placed via the "Fast Bundle blocks" is "Horizontal" by default since it's linked to the display direction of the "Bundles Page".

If you want to set the display direction for the bundles that are placed via the "Fast Bundle blocks" to "Vertical" like the display direction of the bundles in the "Included product pages", you should set the display direction of the "Bundles page" to "Vertical" via Fast Bundle admin > Customization > Design > Additional customization > Bundles page layout > Vertical

Please note that if you made customizations to your bundle via the "Customization" section and you want them to show also by using the bundle blocks, you should set the "Bundle pages" display direction to "Vertical".

1. Navigate to "Online store" > "Themes" > "Customize"

2. Choose the template

Choose the desired page where you want to adjust bundle positions (e.g., "Products" > "Default product").

3. Add block

Access the section where you wish to add Fast Bundle blocks, click "Add Block," search "Fast Bundle," and select the appropriate block type.

4. Choose block type

5. Save

Available Fast Bundle Blocks:

  • "Specific Bundle"

Display a specific bundle offer in any shop location by entering the Bundle's ID.

  • "Volume discount position"
Determine where volume discount bundles appear on product pages.

  • "All Your Bundles"

Functions as a "Bundles Page" showcasing all active bundles created with Fast Bundle.

  • "Related Bundles Position"

Specify where bundle offers appear on the Product Detail Page for relevant products.

  • "FBT Bundles position"

Position "Frequently Bought Together" bundles on the main product pages.

Example:

After selecting a block type (e.g., "Specific Bundle"), a new section will be added to your template.

You can change the position of this block by dragging it (from the icon shown below) and moving it around among the elements on the page.

At the right section of the page, there will be two things that can be set.

Bundle ID(s)

You can determine which bundle (or bundles) you intend to show in this "Specific bundle" block by entering its (or their) ID which is accessible via the Bundle edit page on the Fast Bundle admin page.

You can copy the bundle ID from the top of the "Edit Bundle" page using the "Copy Bundle ID" button, or you can find it in "More Displays" under "Embed the bundle anywhere on your theme".

Product pages

Since you are assigning these settings to all of the product pages of your shop, here you can determine on which page (or pages) this block should be displayed. If you don't specify any product page, this specific block will be shown on all of the product pages in your shop.

The column should look something like this when the selection process is over.

Don't forget to save!

Click the green "Save " button and now you are done!

Other bundle block types follow the same process. (This one was the most comprehensive one)

If you can't use the bundle blocks for any reason but you still want to put the bundle wherever you wish using the "Custom liquid", you can check this article.

Please don't forget to contact the Fast Bundle support team if you face any issues while changing the bundles' position or if there are any questions. We are ready to change the bundle position for you if you just provide us with the exact bundle(s) name(s) and the desired place. (Sending screenshots can really help in these cases)
