How to change the bundle's position using "Fast Bundle blocks"?

This article describes how to change the position of the bundle widget and place it on your shop pages.

Updated over a week ago

Sometimes you don't like the initial place chosen by Fast Bundle to show bundles on your shop and you want to change it.

There are two ways to do this:

  1. Contact Fast Bundle support (support@fastbundle.co) and ask us to change the place of a bundle to your desired place. (Don't forget to send complementary documents like screenshots that can show your desired place exactly)

  2. Use "Fast Bundle blocks" to put the bundles wherever you want on your own without the need for any external help.

How to use Fast Bundle Blocks:

Please note that the display direction for the bundles that are placed via the "Fast Bundle blocks" is "Horizontal" by default since it's linked to the display direction of the "Bundles Page".

If you want to set the display direction for the bundles that are placed via the "Fast Bundle blocks" to "Vertical" like the display direction of the bundles in the "Included product pages", you should set the display direction of the "Bundles page" to "Vertical" via Fast Bundle admin > Customization > Design > Additional customization > Bundles page layout > Vertical

Please note that if you made customizations to your bundle via the "Customization" section and you want them to show also by using the bundle blocks, you should set the "Bundle pages" display direction to "Vertical".

In order to use it, go to "Online store" > "Themes", and click on "Customize".

From the top of the page, choose which page you want to view in order to change the bundle's position there.

We choose "Products" > "Default product" as an example.

Go to the section where you want to add the Fast Bundle blocks and click on "Add Block", search "Fast Bundle" and choose the Fast Bundle block that fits your needs best.

"Specific Bundle"

You can show the offer for a specific bundle in any place in your shop with this block if you only enter the Bundle's ID. (Accessible via Fast Bundle admin)

"Volume discount position"
When put on the product page, this block will determine where the volume discount bundle will be shown on the product page for all of the products that have relevant volume discount bundles.

"All Your Bundles"

Acts like a "Bundles Page" and includes all of the active bundles that you've made using Fast Bundle.

"Related Bundles Position"

Using this block, you can specify where you want the bundle offers to show up on the Product Detail Page. Note that this block will include all of the bundles in which that specific product is involved.

"FBT Bundles position"

One of the bundle types that are most often re-positioned is the "Frequently Bought Together" bundle. That's why we made it a separate block for it. (In addition to other reasons)

Let's choose the "Specific bundle" block for example and continue our journey! (Since it's the bundle block type that is used the most)

A new section has been added as you can see.

You can change the position of this block by dragging it (from the icon shown below) and moving it around among the elements on the page.

At the right section of the page, there are two things that can be set.

Bundle ID(s)

You can determine which bundle (or bundles) you intend to show in this "Specific bundle" block by entering its (or their) ID which is accessible via the Bundle edit page on the Fast Bundle admin page.

Product pages

Since you are assigning these settings to all of the product pages of your shop, here you can determine on which page (or pages) this block should be displayed. If you don't specify any product page, this specific block will be shown on all of the product pages in your shop.

The column should look something like this when the selection process is over.

Click the green "Save " button and now you are done!

Other bundle block types follow the same process. (This one was the most comprehensive one)

If you can't use the bundle blocks for any reason but you still want to put the bundle wherever you wish using the "Custom liquid", you can check this article.

Please don't forget to contact the Fast Bundle support team if you face any issues while changing the bundles' position or if there are any questions. We are ready to change the bundle position for you if you just provide us with the exact bundle(s) name(s) and the desired place. (Sending screenshots can really help in these cases)
