How do I activate or deactivate the "Subscription" feature in Fast Bundle?

This article explains how to activate/ deactivate subscription in Fast Bundle.

Updated over a week ago

Fast Bundle seamlessly integrates with subscription apps on Shopify. Just as you define selling plans for your individual products, you can also sell your bundles with those same plans. Read more to learn how.

How does Subscription work in Fast Bundle?

Fast Bundle displays a selling plan for a bundle only when the subscription feature is enabled for all products within that bundle. The available selling plans are shown in a separate dropdown menu attached to the bundle, as illustrated below:

Independent from the Subscription widget

You might have a subscription widget available for a product. However, the bundle can only function with subscriptions through the drop-down menu provided within the bundle widget. The bundle feature does not operate with the subscription widget directly on the page.

Integrated with many apps

With the "Subscription" feature, you can use Fast Bundle to support subscription sales on your bundles for your customers via subscription apps including SUBIFY, Recurpay, Appstel, Seal Subscriptions, and Loop Subscriptions.

Please note that we are not integrated with the Recharge Subscription app.

How to enable the subscription feature?

In order to enable the subscription feature on your bundles, on the Fast Bundle admin page go to "Settings" > "Bundle settings" > "Subscription"> check the mentioned box and press "Save".

After this, a dropdown menu containing all the available selling plans will be displayed alongside the bundle widget.

Refer to the following article if you have created a single product from your bundle and want to sell that product with a selling plan.

Important Note: Fast Bundle will display a selling plan on a bundle only when the subscription feature is available for all products in that bundle.

Example Scenario:

Imagine Bundle X consists of:

  • Product A with a "Weekly" selling plan.

  • Product B with "Weekly" and "Monthly" selling plans.

  • Product C with "Daily," "Weekly," and "Monthly" selling plans.

Fast Bundle can display a "Weekly" selling plan for this bundle since it is the only common plan across all included items.

If there is a Product D in Bundle X without any selling plan, Fast Bundle will not show any selling plan for this bundle, as there is no common selling plan for all included items.
