Before every rental, our lenders are required to check that their items are fully functioning before handing them over to you. To be doubly sure, it’s a good idea to also check over the item yourself at the point of collection from the lender.
It's your responsibility as the borrower to check that the item is compatible for the intended use (eg. check that a lender's lens fits your camera model). Make sure you ask the lender any relevant questions in advance before booking.
If the item you collected isn’t working as it should or is not as described:
- Please notify the lender immediately - they may have a suitable alternative for you to use instead.
- If the lender can't provide a replacement, you can arrange a refund through Fat Llama. Get in touch via Live Chat or call directly on 020 3936 2259 (UK) or +1 347-352-8097 (US). We'll ask you to provide proof that the equipment is not working as described on the listing and/or proof of the lender agreeing to the refund.
