How to turn on AI Features in Fathom

Before you can begin using the Commentary Writer to draft commentary in your Pro reports, AI Features must be enabled for your Fathom organisation.

Any Admin-level user can enable the AI features:

  1. Click the Cog/Gear icon on the black bar at the top of your screen.
    ​

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Organisation Settings.
    ​

  3. On the left sidebar, click AI Features.
    ​

  4. Enable AI Features.

Once enabled, all Admin and Advisor/Editor-level users will automatically have access to the Commentary Writer. This permission can be removed for individual users with Advanced User Permissions.

Client/Viewer-level users can also be granted access to the Commentary Writer via Advanced User Permissions.

Security

Fathom utilises the Access Evo platform to provide AI functionality. Access Evo utilises OpenAI models within a secure, private environment through our chosen partner, Microsoft. This means no customer data leaves this controlled infrastructure, and no user prompts or uploaded data will leave this secure environment or be used to train OpenAI models.
