IMPORTANT: We are currently working on our native Zapier integration and expect to have it ready shortly. In the meantime, you can accomplish the same integration and sync capabilities using Zapier's free email parser, which is what I will walk you through in this article.

Zapier allows you to "connect" Fieldboom to over 1,000 popular apps (including Mailchimp, Hubspot CRM, Salesforce and Google Sheets) so you can share and sync your responses automatically as soon as they come in.

Let's start by setting up our one-time integration with Zapier's email parser. After we've done that, we can use Zapier's "zap" builder to create integrations between Fieldboom and as many apps as you'd like.

Step 1 - Create Your Inbox On Zapier's Email Parser

Start by visiting and sign in with your Zapier account. If you don't have a Zapier account yet, you can create one free here.

After signing in, click the Authorize button to allow Zapier's email parser to authenticate with your Zapier account:

After authenticating, you should now see this screen:

Next we want to create a mailbox, so click the blue Create Mailbox button. You should then see a screen that looks like this:

Before moving on, select the email address next to the "Send an email to" text and copy it to your clipboard using Command+C on Mac or Ctrl+C on Windows:

Step 2 - Forward Fieldboom Responses To Zapier

We're now going to auto-forward every response you receive for your form/survey/quiz in Fieldboom to Zapier, using the email address we just copied to our clipboard in the previous step.

Sign in to Fieldboom and click the Edit Form button on the form whose responses you would like to sync to another app using Zapier:

Next, click the Options tab:

Paste the email address from step 1 into the email notifications field and then hit Save, as shown below:

Note: If you also want to be notified via email when you receive a new response, just paste in the Zapier email address followed by a comma and then your email address, such as,

Now click the Preview button at the top of the page and fill in your Fieldboom form/survey/quiz all the way through:

Step 3 - Verify Your Zapier Email Address Is Working

Once you've filled in your form all the way through, go back to your Zapier inbox and click the Edit link:

You should see something like this:

This is an exact copy of the email notification you receive from Fieldboom when someone completes your form/survey/quiz.

We can now tell Zapier which parts of the email we want to extract and sync, which we will do next.

Step 3 - Select & Name Your Sections

Our final step before we sign in to Zapier and create our "zap" (the automation rule that will take our response and sync it to other apps) is to select and name the sections of our email that we want to be sync to other apps.

To do that, we simply select some text in the Initial Template box, give it a name and hit Save:

Once you hit Save, you'll see that the actual text gets replaced with a yellow placeholder variable like this:

Repeat this process for all of the selections you want to be able to sync as variables to other apps via Zapier:

In the example above, we've created 4 selections (all in yellow):

  • firstname
  • email
  • service
  • budget

When you've finished creating your selections, hit the blue Save Address and Template button at the bottom of the page:

You've now completed the setup of Zapier's email parser. The good news is, this only has to be done once. You can now use Zapier to sync your responses to as many apps as you like.
