How to Book for a Guest

Melon makes it easy to book travel for any guests you may need to complete reservations for.

Note: A Guest is someone who does not have a Melon account. If you are a Trip Arranger trying to book travel for an associate, click here.

To book for a guest:

  1. Login to your Melon account.

  2. Select the reservation type you wish to make (Flight, Hotel, or Car).

  3. Click on the Traveler field and enter the name or email address of your guest if this person has already been added previously as a guest traveler.

    You can then search and book for this guest.

  4. To add a brand new guest, click into the Traveler field and then select Add Guest Traveler.

Note: Not seeing the Add Guest Traveler option? It's possible your company's Melon site doesn't allow guest bookings online, or your Administrator didn't set your profile to allow for guest bookings. Reach out to your company's designated Administrator(s) or your Dedicated Travel team to advise.

4. Enter the Guest's information on the popup screen and click Save when finished.

Once you complete their information profile, a guest profile will be created for this traveler and you will be able to book for them now and in the future.

An itinerary will also be sent to the email that you enter in their guest profile.
