If your company has negotiated a special rate at a property Melon will highlight these to you and show "Your Company Name Rates". You should take advantage of these rates whenever they are available.

When there's no Melon Exclusive Deal or Company Negotiated Rate available these are the recommended rates to select from. These rates come direct from the hotels which means that you will be eligible to earn points and receive any loyalty benefits you may have. They are also usually more flexible but always double check the booking conditions.

Melon provides you access to rates available on Bookings.com & Expedia which makes it easier than ever to compare and book the right price for you. There are a couple of different rates you will see in the platform:

EAN Hotel Collect

When you book a EAN Hotel Collect rate you are booking through Expedia and your payment method will be charged at check-out.

EAN Prepaid

When you book a EAN Prepaid rate you are booking through Expedia and your payment method will be charged immediately. Make sure to check the booking conditions to see if this is refundable or not.

Booking.com

When you book a Booking.com rate you are booking through Booking.com and your payment method will be charged immediately. Make sure to check the booking conditions to see if this is refundable or not.

You may also see Senior Discount, AAA, Military, Government, Membership rates. These rates require you to show the relevant ID at check-in otherwise you may be charged a higher price. To control whether you see these rates in Melon, update your preferences under My Account > Loyalty & Preferences.
