Troubleshooting SSO login attempt issues

Are you attempting to sign into your Melon site via SSO and having trouble? There could be a few things happening with your profile that may not be allowing you to sign in.

Missing Profile

If your company has disabled profile creation for Melon via SSO, you may be being returned to the login page after entering your credentials. This would mean that an administrator from your company would need to add your email address to the list of users in Melon that are allowed to sign in. A reason this would be disabled is if your company operates in multiple countries or there's a large amount of policy groups with different rules for travel that you should be added to before logging in for the first time.

Deactivated Profile

If your company has removed your profile intentionally or unintentionally, your profile may be marked as deactivated in Melon. You should reach out to your company administrator for assistance with activating your profile if you should be able to login.

Invalid Email

If your SSO email credentials are different from your common email address that we should have in our profile list, this may be preventing you from signing in as well. If we have a user as john.doe@companyname.com in our system but your SSO email credentials are john.doe@us.company.net, we would need to update your email on our side or you would have to ensure your SSO email matches the email we have on file for you before the sign-on would work.
