The Estimated Sales Calculator feature does exactly what it says on the tin….BuyBotPro uses data from Amazon to come to a mean number of sales an ASIN will make in a month.

Amazon don’t reveal sales figures for individual products but do provide a ranking – the Best Sellers Rank (BSR) – for every listing that has made at least one sale.

The BSR is commonly used to gauge how popular a product is on Amazon, and is available for anyone to see on the listing page. It also features in BuyBotPro in the Charts and the Details section.

It isn’t a reliable measure of how MANY of that product might sell though.

If a listing ranks high in a slow-selling category it may not perform as well as a low-ranked product in a fast-selling one.

The Estimated Sales Calculator provides a tangible number for BuyBotPro users to use to make a decision during their deal analysis.

It provides an estimation for the last 30 days sales, the current month as well as every month for the previous 12 months - assuming sales were made in those months. There is also a prediction of the number of sales that might have made in the previous and the next 90 days.

Due to the data BuyBotPro uses to make this calculation the results often err on the conservative side, so are likely to be lower than the actual sales.

It is worth noting that the Estimated Sales Calculator is providing figures for total sales for that listing, not what each seller may expect to make.
