The Alerts Section

One of the sections of the BuyBotPro panel that populates before needing to click on Analyze is Alerts.

The five features in Alerts are not reliant on the Buy Price or Sell Price required for a full analysis, so BuyBotPro generates these results as soon as it loads.

In order to provide accurate results specific to a selling account it is necessary to have logged into an Amazon Seller Account on another Chrome tab.

The purpose of the Alerts section is to warn sellers of common issues that may prevent or hinder their ability to sell an item.

The Meltable alert will show red if the ASIN being analyzed is deemed heat-sensitive and is classified as Meltable by Amazon. This doesn’t mean a seller can’t sell it, but does mean it is subject to seasonal selling restrictions.

Amazon won’t accept Meltable products into the FBA Network during specific times of the year. These dates can be different for different countries, though items deemed as Meltable can still be sold Fulfilled By Merchant, at the sellers risk.

The IP Radar will show amber or red if there are concerns over the brand owner making claims against sellers selling their goods. BuyBotPro monitors more than 5000 brands for infringement claims.

Oversized items are those that can incur higher fees when shipped through the FBA network. The size of items is determined by the dimensions registered in Amazon’s fee calculator, not necessarily those shown on the product listing.

Therefore, BuyBotPro cannot guarantee that an item is or isn’t, but if the dimensions in the fee calculator suggest it is then the Oversize alert will show amber or red.

The Buy Box Analysis indicator analyses the data available for a listing for the previous 90 days, and assesses whether Amazon share the Buy Box around the sellers on the listing.

If it shows amber or red the likelihood is that Amazon have been the dominant seller and have not shared the Buy Box. More detail can be found in the Buy Box Statistics feature.

If Variations shows amber it will display the number of variations – colour, size, pack size etc. – available linked to the analysed ASIN. Use the Variations feature to review the different variations in one place.

With all five alerts, hovering over the name of the alert will provide information about what you can expect from each. Hovering over the coloured notification – green, amber or red – will display further detail of why BuyBotPro is showing the result it is.

As with all sections in BuyBotPro, the Alerts section can be minimised using the arrow on the title bar. It can also be moved or hidden completely from view in the Section Customizer at the top of BuyBotPro.
