The results BuyBotPro produce consider all the fees that will be associated with selling any given product, and in the case of some of these fees they can be very different for different ASINs.

Largely speaking, the largest fees are set by Amazon and will change for every product. BuyBotPro applies these automatically on every analysis.

There are some fees that will be personal to each seller. In the Settings – in the Basic section – these can be input to dial in the accuracy of BuyBotPro’s results.

These fees won’t necessarily apply to every seller, but it is likely at least one of them will need attention.

The Prep Fee is predominantly for sellers who use prep services such as prep centres, Amazon’s prepping service, or employ people directly to prep items.

Enter the cost per item in the Prep Fee box.

If an ASIN is listed as more than one individual item, this is what is commonly known as a bundle. For example, if a bar of soap is purchased individually by a seller, but the ASIN is listed on Amazon as a six-pack of that bar of soap, this is a bundle and requires packaging as such.

The Bundle Prep Fee could be the additional charge a prep service charges for prepping a bundle, or if the seller is doing it the cost of the poly bag, label or box that is required to package it.

If it is the latter sellers might take an average, or approximation, of the cost and use that for a standard analysis.

The Shipping Cost is the cost of shipping inventory into Amazon, or to the customer for MF sellers. Every seller using Amazon’s FBA network will be paying for a shipping service to deliver it to an Amazon Fulfilment Centre, so something should be entered in here.

Calculate the shipping costs per kg or lb and BuyBotPro will calculate how much it costs for any individual ASIN to be shipped to Amazon. If there is a cost attached to packaging the shipment, i.e. a box, then it could be included in here.

To calculate the shipping cost, divide the cost the shipping partner charges by the usual weight of a box. For example:

Preferred Partner Shipping Cost £4.36

Maximum Box Weight: 15kg

Shipping Cost per kg: £0.29

Merchant Fulfilled sellers will also have shipping costs and can enter it here, or if they have a fixed cost can use any of the fees boxes to ensure it is applied to the BBP calculations.

The fees entered will be saved and applied to every analysis, however they can be amended at any time to fit individual ASINs.
