Popular uses of this feature include keeping a record to refer back to when replenishing stock, deals that are bookmarked for purchase at a later date, or to compile deals for certain suppliers.

There's 2 ways to add Google sheets within BuyBotPro; you can add existing sheets to BBP or create a new Google sheet within BBP itself.

Before we get into the specific steps, you'll need to navigate to the Google sheets settings.

Navigate to the BuyBotPro settings and click on the Google sheets manager link. This can be found under the 'Advanced' section:

Or quite simply head into the web view by any means, you can do this by tapping 'dashboard' at the bottom of the VA toolbox section.

In there, tap your profile icon in the top right corner and select the Google sheet settings...

Regardless of which route you'd like to go down, you'll need to connect up your google account.

Tap 'connect' and choose the google account you want to link (please bear in mind this should be the same as your chrome/google drive account that you created the sheet in).

If any permissions are requested, please approve them.

Your Google and BuyBotPro accounts are now linked.

To add existing sheets;

Tap 'grant access to sheets'

You'll need the instructions and link in there to help you.

To allow our app to access specific Google Sheets files, you need to manually share access with our service account. This is required for any files not created directly through our app.

Instructions:

  1. Open the Google Sheets file you want to share.

  2. Click on Share in the top right corner.

  3. In the Add people and groups field, enter the following email:
    bbp-googlesheets-service-acc@buybotpro-bbp.iam.gserviceaccount.com

  4. Set the access level to Editor.

  5. Click Send to save the changes.

  6. And finally, go to your Google Sheets Manager page and click the Refresh List button to complete the update.

Once shared, our app will be able to access this file and include it in the list of available Google Sheets files.

To create a new Google sheet within BuyBotPro, you can click 'create' and continue to name your sheet and choose if you want to use default headers.

Opting to use default headers means BBP will generate the analysis information headers at the top of your Google sheet for you, so you wouldn't have to enter them yourself.

The sheet will then appear in the manager menu.

You can always rename the sheet after creation if you wish (there's a link to open the sheet next to the name field).

You can set a different tab ID if you want the information to populate on a different tab within the Google sheet.

Tapping auto-export means that once a deal is analysed, it'll automatically be exported to the ticked sheet.

A sheet can also be marked as active or inactive.

You may also choose which format you'd like to save your sheet as in the last option on the sheet row.

What's more, you can customise the columns in the sheet by dragging/dropping the various column options

Tapping 'more' opens up a few extra slots where you can add duplicate sets of information if you like.

You can clear it and set everything in a certain order from scratch or if you want to start again and have it in the default arrangement, you can click 'reset.'

There's a useful tutorial that'll walk you through this on the Google Sheets Manager page itself.

Your sheets will appear in the export data section ready for you to manually export to.
The source URL field is completely optional and allows you to paste in the URL for where you found the item.
