What Does Quick Look Tell Me?

The Quick Look feature is one of the few that does not appear in the main BuyBotPro panel.

Its main function is to offer sellers a quick and simple way to reverse source, an alternative to the manual sourcing method that most sellers use in modern Online Arbitrage.

Quick Look does appear in Settings as it is where users can activate and de-activate it with a toggle in the Personalisation section.

To see Quick Look in Amazon, enter a product type in the Amazon search bar at the top of the window and click the magnifying glass icon to generate results.

The view above is the result of a search for cat food. For every listing that appears in the search results the Quick Look box appears underneath with the following key data:

  • The ASIN

  • BSR (Best Seller Rank) and the category it is in

  • Type of seller, and number of sellers, currently on the listing

  • A link to a pop-up of the BuyBotPro Charts

  • Button to display a BuyBotPro pop-up

  • Link to a Google Shopping search for the product

The BSR is important in guiding users to assess how well the item currently sells. The BuyBotPro pop-up will display the Estimated Sales Calculator with more tangible estimations, but the BSR is a good initial guide.

The seller type will influence some sellers. The three seller types – Amazon themselves, FBA and MF – will show if each seller type is represented.

Appearing as a pop-up in the same tab as the Amazon search, the fully-functional BuyBotPro Charts allow users to dive into the history of a listing without leaving the search page.

Scroll down in the pop-up to see the full range of BuyBotPro Charts, and isolate specific data with the toggles on the right.

The Open BuyBotPro button in the Quick Look box will open a pop-up similar to the Manual Sourcing Accelerator.

Full BuyBotPro analysis can be undertaken without having to open the Amazon listing page.

Clicking on the Google link will open a Google Shopping search in a new tab. From here users can search retailers to find a competitive price to sell on Amazon.

This method of sourcing, known as reverse sourcing, provides sellers with the performance data of a listing already active on Amazon. Quick Look helps sellers to then source it from suppliers – the reverse process of traditional manual sourcing.
