What Data Does The Main BuyBotPro Chart Show?

The main BuyBotPro Chart displays historic data for a listing, and will show in an Amazon listing without needing to conduct an Analysis.

The data ranges from Best Seller Rank to Amazon’s activity to Selling Price, across the entire length of the ASIN’s life.

Each datapoint can be isolated with the toggles on the right of the Chart, and they display data for:

  • FBA Price – the low FBA price

  • Amazon – when Amazon are selling this is their Selling Price

  • Lowest New – lowest price seller in New Condition

  • FBM – Low Fulfilled By Merchant (MF) price

  • BSR – Best Seller Rank

  • Buy Box – Buy Box price

  • Sales Heatmap – the coloured bar underneath the Chart

  • B/E – the Break Even price according to the Buy Price input

In the case that a data line has a break – or in the case of Amazon, the orange shaded area stops – it means there wasn’t a seller present on the listing at that moment of that seller type.

Hovering over the date on the Chart will display a popup with the exact data from that moment of the selected toggles.

Tracking the prices will give an indication of the trends in pricing, and if there are any patterns that will help sellers make predictions on any future sales potential.

The BSR can be used to identify potential sales. A movement down will often indicate a sale being made. The stepped display option – found in the Settings – displays this with more definition.

Zoom in by selecting a smaller date range – using the Days tabs underneath the Chart – to get a more dialled-in sample size.

It is also possible to zoom in manually. Select an area of the Chart and it will focus in on the selected timescale. Click on Reset Zoom to revert to the original date range.

The Sales Heatmap identifies any increased or decreased sales level trends in sales, i.e. seasonal, specific holidays. Red means higher sales, shifting to orange, yellow or white as they decrease.

The activity will often correlate with the BSR, but is a quick-look visual representation of how well an item is selling, and when.

The data in the main Chart can paint trending pictures when used in conjunction with each other, and with other supporting charts.

For example, Selling Price increasing as seller numbers drop in the Offers & Reviews due to decreasing competition is common, as can Buy Box pricing increase when Amazon exits a listing.

The Averages charts will likely support the data being shown in the main Chart, but in an overview, bar chart format.
