To get started analysing a deal the opening screen will open a camera view with a frame in the centre in which to position a barcode.

If the product being scanned is listed on Amazon the product will appear as in the below screen. The Sell Price will auto-populate if there is currently a Buy Box price.

Be sure to check that it is the same product as the scanned item.

Enter the Buy Price and click on Analyze.

The main screen contains the basic information required to analyse a product. First check it is listed in the marketplace it is will be sold in and select it.

The next box displays the fundamental data for the deal, including profit details, the ROI, Best Seller Rank, and associated costs with selling the item on Amazon. Tap on Costs and a breakdown will pop up.

If the Buy Price is not correct it can be amended or – in certain marketplaces – converted to an alternative currency. To see how the Sell Price would impact the results, that can also be altered by tapping and changing the figure.

Click on Reanalyze to have BuyBotGo recalculate with any new pricing.

BuyBotGo generates a % score, giving sellers an indication of whether the product might be a good deal or not depending on the criteria entered in Settings.

How many products BuyBotGo estimates it has sold in the last 30 days and 90 days is shown, as are predicted future sales.

It is important to establish if it is possible – or safe – to sell a product. Check the IP Radar that it doesn’t have a history of being restricted to sell by the brand, and also that the indicators in the Can I Sell This? box are green.

Further information such as likely increased fees due to product size, if it will be subject to FBA restrictions being a meltable product, and Amazon’s activity on the listing will show too.
