How To Download CSV Files

Select the Bulk Inventory tab along the top of the Profit Protector Pro websites screen to create and download CSV files.

CSV files can be downloaded to and edited in most widely-used spreadsheets, including:

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Apple Numbers

  • Google Sheets

Select the Bulk Inventory tab along the top of the Profit Protector Pro websites screen to create and download CSV files.

To Download To And Amend CSV Files in Microsoft Excel

Choose the CSV file to download by clicking on the corresponding button.

Choosing the Download Inventory CSV By Filters option will open a pop-up with the filters available to apply to the data included in the file.

Open the file from the download bar in the browser, or wherever downloads have been set up to be saved to.

Make the amendments required in Excel to the repricing settings and save that file to a location to be uploaded back to Profit Protector Pro.

Note: Only the Min and Max Prices, Buy Price, Break Even Price, Strategy, EFN/Pan or Small & Light statuses can be edited and saved to be uploaded.

From the Bulk Inventory Management screen, click on Upload Inventory CSV and select the edited file that has been saved.

BEWARE: Any changes you have made will override the data in Profit Protector Pro, so be sure that the amendments are correct before uploading.

Once the CSV file has been uploaded a message will appear confirming this and updates will be applied to the inventory.

To Download to And Amend CSV Files In Numbers On MacOs

Choose the CSV file to download by clicking on the corresponding button.

Selecting the Download Inventory CSV By Filters option will open a pop-up with the filters available to apply to the data included in the file.

Open the file from the download bar in the browser, or wherever downloads have been set up to be saved to.

In Numbers, make the required amendments to the repricing settings in the appropriate columns.

Note: Only the Min and Max Prices, Buy Price, Break Even Price, Strategy, EFN/Pan or Small & Light statuses can be edited and saved to be uploaded.

Save the edited file to a location that can be easily found to upload back to Profit Protector Pro.

From the Bulk Inventory Management screen, click on Upload Inventory CSV and select the edited file that has been saved.

In Google Sheets make any amendments to inventory repricing as required

NOTE: Only the Min and Max Prices, Buy Price, Break Even Price, Strategy, EFN/Pan or Small & Light statuses can be edited and saved to be uploaded.

Select File – Download – Comma-separated values (.csv) to download the edited CSV file to a chosen location.

From the Bulk Inventory Management screen click on Upload Inventory CSV and select the edited file that has been saved.
