Automations allow sellers to instruct Profit Protector Pro to make set changes to the repricing of a SKUs, depending on a variety of scenarios.

This gives sellers a little more control over the repricing, but still being able to make use of the power of the AI in PPP.

To create a new Automation, click on New Automation in the top right of the Automations tab.

The Wizard and Flow methods offer the same parameters for an Automation, the process is just slightly different to get the same end result.

The Wizard runs sellers through a series of questions which will build an Automation based on the answers chosen.

The Flow method has a top-down workflow for choosing the conditions for the Automation, asking users to add conditions one by one.

Conditions that can be selected to trigger a change in repricing include:

  • A set time period

  • The number of competitors hits set parameters

  • A change in the number of units in stock

  • When the Buy Box price moves to the seller’s min or max

  • If no sales have been made for a set period

Profit Protector Pro can be instructed to make specific changes to the pricing or repricing strategy when one or more conditions are met.

These changes include:

  • Go to the min or max price

  • Switch strategy, including Profit Protector Pro’s SMART strategies

  • Matching a variety of price points, i.e. Low FBA, High MF, Buy Box

  • Go to a set price or ROI%

Click Save once all the required conditions have been added to save the Automations to Profit Protector Pro.

Users can set up unlimited Automations and they can all be applied to any SKU.

To apply an Automation to a listing, select it from the Automation dropdown in the listing’s panel.
