To get the most from Profit Protector Pro, and get accurate results from the repricing it actions, it is important to provide it the right information.
Most of the settings that will need attention are in the PPP Settings tab in the Account page.
The first thing to set up is the Amazon marketplaces that are being actively sold in. It’s a simple toggle-on for those that are active and – using the arrows on the left of the corresponding flag – can be arranged in any order.
There are also several options to tell Profit Protector Pro about the basic VAT options and shipping costs (for MF sellers) for the business.
The Retail/Wholesale toggle will change whether VAT is included or excluded by default on all SKUs. This can be changed on individual SKUs in the Inventory page.
For those selling in the EU, the final setting on this page is the European Marketplace Settings. They can select from the drop-down the program being used to sell cross-border to EU countries; EFN-UK, EFN-EU or PAN.
Click on Save Changes to apply them.
Whilst usually set up during the sign-up process, to connect or disconnect from UK/EU or US/CA/MX marketplaces can be done in the My Amazon Accounts tab.
At the bottom of this page is also where to set the Default Amazon Marketplace. This will mean it is the one that shows first when using any of Profit Protector Pro’s portals.
Click on Save Changes to activate any alterations made.
