Once a search is completed in Sellerbility an information box is generated for each deal it finds filled with data about the deal.

Once a search is completed in Sellerbility – whether a retailer, category or wholesale scan – an information box is generated for each deal it finds filled with data about the deal.

The sections on the left shows the basic information of the product; supplier, the product name, images and then above them whether the seller is eligible to sell it.

An important step at this point – as with any sourcing process – is to double check that the two items match. Due diligence should always be done even when packaging is slightly different. Updated packaging is usually not an issue, but a difference in the actual product can be.

Sellerbility records when the price was last checked at the retailer and Amazon in the relevant box, and clicking on the product will open the retailer page or Amazon listing to quicly see the current prices.

The data that is usually considered key to establishing if a product is a potential deal is shown in the centre section.

The key current datapoints are highlighted at the top:

  • ROI – the return on investment based on the prices found

  • Profit – the monetary profit buying and selling at the prices displayed

  • Estimated Monthly Sales – estimate based on hundreds of Amazon datapoints

These are the numbers that most sellers want to see first when deciding on whether to buy a deal.

BSR (Best Seller Rank) data reveals how popular the product is in its Amazon category. The lower the sales rank %, the more popular it is (i.e. a listing showing 2% will sell more on Amazon than one at 15%).

The same is true of the actual sales rank. The lower the number, the more popular it is in its category. There is also an average of the last 3 month’s BSR to help determine whether it is a consistent seller.

There is also information for the listing competition, including the number of different types of seller and the headline Buy Box details.
